D16A6 distributor help
well last night i was at some runs and i was lining up my car and i was trying to stage around 2k but when i reved her up around 1500 rpm's the motor seemed to be misfiring or something...like making a choking sound. this only happened at low rpm's when i was trying to stage for a race. above 1800 it didn't do this....i'm thinking its a bad distributor or something? i was wondering if i can use any D series distributor for my D16A6 or do i have to get a distributor specifically made for my car? if so...i'll just pick up a used one with low miles(if thats possible) for cheap here on the internet...well thanks for the help.

no you cant swap em like that, trust me i tried, the si dizzy and the dx dizzy's are different, the si has an extra sensor in it that the dx doesnt have, be safe and just get the right dizzy for your motor.
