your motor will be fine ... highway miles hardly stresses a motor at all.

1. ur car will be fine
2. if its ur 1st time at a track, make sure u launch a lot higher then u do on the streets. i had to learn this the hard way, an didn't get the times i wanted til the 2nd time. 3. depends on track conditions. if the track is completely dry at sea level w/ 50 degree weather, u can hit low 16s (if u hit ur run correctly.) i really see u doin mid to high 16's however...but i dunno, never ridden or see ur car, so its all up to u an ur driving. good luck.

I just thought of this, wish i would've thought of it the other day when i was at the track... if you have a cold air intake (aluminum), before you go to the track, go to walmart or something and buy a can of air duster. when you get to the track, chances are, your engine bay will be pretty hot, as well as your cold air intake. well, take the spray duster, turn it up side down and spray the frozen mist onto your cold air intake pipe to charge it to very cold. it will cool the air even more coming into the engine and create a couple more horsepower, giving you a better time.
Its the same principle as people who ice down the intake manifold/intake pipe before running. I just thought spray duster would work better/quicker
