rear main seal replacement

My daughter has a 2000 intrepid with i believe a 2.7 engine. the rear main seal is leaking. anybody have any idea if replacement is a very big or hard job to do??

this is automatic isn't it? if so it is a big job without a lift you have to pull axles,tranny,flywhill,and your.torque converter to put it in. ask some your friends tha knows a good mechanic just don't take it just anywhere and you might get it done reasonable.
