I have a 2001 taurus wagon and the trunk door won't lock from the clicker/keyless entry remote. I have to open the side door and crawl throught the trunk and open it by hand. Its a real pain lol. Is the actuator gone bad? It tries to lock because I see the knob go up but there isn't enough power it seems to actually lock the trunk. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: 2001 Taurus Wagon trunk power lock sticking
Yes it's the actuator. Ford solenoid actuators don't last long. You cannot open the truck with the key?
