Turn signals don't work - stumped on this one...
Turn signals suddenly stopped working, but flasher makes an erratic buzzing noise when switch is turned on. Same goes for the hazards. Thought it was the flasher but then realized the rear defrost also isn't working, AND...when rear defrost is turned ON the buzzing noise stops, and when rear defrost is turned OFF buzzing noise starts again. I suspect a short but don't know where to begin looking.
Thanks, Mike |

Clock spring may be to blame.

Re: Turn signals don't work - stumped on this one...
What is a clock spring?
I was messing with the turn signals last night and they came on intermittently, then again this morning. But any time I would turn on the rear defrost the signals failed to turn on, and as soon as I turned off the rear defrost they came back on. I turned the hazard switch on and off several times and wiggled it back and forth but that didn't seem to have any effect. |
