Wheel Mod help please

I was wondering if anybody would have a moment to give some advice. You'll see from the pic what I've been able to do. I've used a few wheels up and this is the best one . I'd like them to be a little sharper but I'm not really worried about the circle in the middle or replacing the wheel nuts. Any tips would be very welcome.

And this is what I've been able to do.


I drilled out the lugnuts, filled and sanded the centre and then redrilled the holes from the back of the wheel.

The problems are that the ridge around the centre is getting sanded down with the centre and the lugnut holes are too big. If I go smaller then they end up being off centre.
