I need some major advice

Ok well to make a long story short i need to some how paint my chrome rims. There arent just any chrome rims tho. They are 22 inch 180 spoke wheels. Yeah they are a pain in the a**. Well i really only think they are like 1 layered chrome. Anyways i have fail this year to keep them clean and they are starting to rust, not really really bad, but they are getting to that point. So hard to take care of spoke rims cuz they rust so easy. In my opinion. I really dont wanna have to rent a sand blaster or pay to take them to the shop. Kinda wanna do this project myself. But i know hand sanding them will suck. But i guess if thats what it takes, ima do it. Any tip on what grade of sand paper or whatever? this will be my first time atempting this. Plus the reason i wanna do this is cuz i want to match them to the color of my truck to make it stand out, you know

Save the money for standard tires, it's pain to just keep up the regular maintenence on a Automobles.

You might want to consider having them media blasted , then powder coated . They can usually match any color . This won't be cheap but is the only way they will come out looking good . Just my , good luck !
