I have changed the fuse and changed socket with an orginal socket from Ford. Still does not work. Help.

Doe's your Data Link Connector (DLC) work for a scanner?
Did the fuse blow?

Usually the DLC & cigar lighter are connected to the same fuse.
Maybe there's a bent pin in the DLC connector.

Re: Cigarette lighter scocket doesn't work

Pull the fuse and check for voltage at the block. If voltage, borrow someone else's lighter and stick it in your new socket to verify it's not the actual element that's bad (you mentioned a new socket, not a new element). If the working lighter doesn't work in your car, and you have voltage from the fuse block, trace the lighter wire and verify continuity.

Don't forget to check the cigar lighters in the back, I found a penny in one of my cigar lighter socket.
