2004 Silhouette lime green leak
I have a Lime green fluid dripping from near my rear driver's side tire. It looks like it could be antifreeze except the stuff that is in my
reservoir is dex cool which is redish brown. I'm thinking that it might be coming from the rear AC. Any ideas? |

Re: 2004 Silhouette lime green leak
That would be the dye used in refrigerant oil- you have an a/c rear line leak- slowly it is letting the refrigerant and oil and gree dye out- your a/c soon will be inop--the line can be fixed, if it is a pin hole- with a union-just cut out the bad spot and splice in the swagelok - works best on the little line.
I have seen several leaks in those lines at the point where the line bends above the gas tank filler tube- seems to be a common problem on the smaller (3/8) line.
