Bravada Starting issue
Ok so today i went out and the truck started fine a few times, and then one "click" then nothing. The lights are bright, everything comes on fine, the voltage reads 12 volts, but when I turn the key, nothing. Not even a click. No battery drain, just no nothing. The alt is new. The battery is just a year old, I tried to jump it. nothing. I checked all the fuses, I checked the wiring and everything looks fine. It sounds to me like the starter. Any other thoughts?

Re: Bravada Starting issue
The starter relay is located in the underhood fuse panel, check the underside of the fuse panel cover for the exact location in the fuse panel. Have an assistant hold a finger on it while you attempt to start the engine. Does it "click" when the ignition is turned to the START position?
If not, move the shifter to NEUTRAL and try again. If it still doesn't click, let me know. If it does click, continue checking, this time at the starter: Check the black cable terminal AND the stud that the cable connects to. They both should show battery voltage at all times. Also at the starter: Check the purple wire, it should show battery voltage when the ignition is in the START position only. Post your results.

Re: Bravada Starting issue
In the underhood fuse panel, check the 40 amp fuse labeled "IGN A" with a volt meter or a test light, on both terminals on the visible end of the fuse, (do not remove the fuse to test it). The fuse is a larger size fuse, probably in a row with several others the same physical size.

Re: Bravada Starting issue
Also in the underhood fuse panel:
1) Check both sides of 20 amp "IGN C" fuse, it should show battery voltage at all times. 2) Check both sides of 10 amp "CRANK" fuse, it should show battery voltage when the ignition switch is in the START position only. Post your results on these also.

Re: Bravada Starting issue
It was the starter. Man it was a PAIN getting it out. There is just no room under there!

Re: Bravada Starting issue
Yup, tight quarters! Glad you got her fixed and thanks for posting back. It's odd that the starter relay didn't click... it sends current to the solenoid on the starter and without it the starter will not engage. The relay is pretty quiet so, who knows.
