SL1 won't turn over

I have a 96 SL1, last night my brother came up and found a blown fuse, replaced it and the car drove fine. This morning I get up and again the car won't turn over. I'll admit I don't know much about cars but I don't know what to do. I don't have a manual so no diagram and I'm too broke to get a mechanic. The dealership put a new engine in it about a week and a half ago and I've heard that something could have gone wrong there.

sounds like you have a short and i would take it back to dealer and make them fix it because it could be several things thats shorting out. does it even click when you try to start it?
