96 200SX No Fire

i have a 96 nissan 200 sx that wont get any fire. i recently changed the engine, somone said that the timing chain was bad and the engine was about the same price used with way less miles. so now i have the engine in and i cant get it to fire, i have double checked my wires, changed the crankshaft position sensor, changed plugs and wires. I have also put the distibutor in it out of the other motor, and bought a new computer for it. So was just wonmdering if there is anything notorious on these cars only that i should check, or if someone may have another idea. this was probably the reason someone said that it was a bad timing chain but they brought it with the motor started to be removed so i just finished that up.
