ABS, Trac Off, SES lights on
My wife's car an 03 GT recently displayed the Trac off, ABS, and SES lights on all the time. Be fore they would come on only when back out of the driveway. If you shut off the car they would go out and stay out. Is it possible the sensor is dirty at the hub? It seems kind of funny that it only used to go on when in reverse. I believe that is what happened recently and now it won't go out.

probably a wheel bearing that is going out, or a broken wire or something. Have the code read to know which wheel cause issue

Okay now I am confused. There are two different service lights on the car. A service engine soon and a service vehicle soon light. In my particular case it's the service vehicle light. I went today to have the codes read and nothing. There are no codes stored with this combo of lights being on. Does this mean I have to take it to a repair shop so they can hook it up to the computer? I thought codes were stored with any kind of "service" light being on. Never seen a service vehicle soon light before...

You need a scanner that is capable of reading the extended codes, such as transmission and the abs brake codes. The scanner that is needed is like the dealer would have which is a gm tech 2, that reads the extended codes.

As a general rule, when ABS,Trac Off, & SVS come on at same time, like phantom said, it's usually a sensor which is part of the wheel bearing assembly. If the wiring looks good, then you will probably wind up having to replace the wheel bearing, in which the sensor is part of it.

I crawled under my wife's car and did the ohm test on the wheel bearings. The driver side reading was 999 ohms, the passenger side reading was ~2100 ohms. Is it safe to assume the driver side wheel bearing is the culprit? I read in another post that they should read about 2000 ohms.

It would be hard for me to say as my GA doesn't have ABS. I have had to replace my driver front wheel bearing assembly because of noise & wear. Some of the others would be better able to answer your question on the ohm readings.
