02 Windshield Washer Pump Problems

I had the engine changed out in my Grand Prix SE last year, and ever since then, my washer fluid hasn't worked. Not sure if it'd be related, or just a fluke that happened at the same time.

I couldn't hear the pump running at all, so I bought a new pump and installed it. Still nothing and I can't hear the pump whine when I try to use it. I haven't checked to see if I'm getting power there, but I'm going to assume no. The contacts on the wiring looked pretty good.

I also know the hoses aren't an issue, as I first disconnected the one closest to the pump and didn't get anything going through it.

The wiper blades work perfectly fine. The only fuse I could find is for the blades, not sure if there's another one to check or not. Maybe a relay somewhere?

Any ideas?
Thanks everybody!

Re: 02 Windshield Washer Pump Problems

The windshield washer pump does not have its own fuse. Best to check the voltage at the pump electrical connector after activating the washer switch on the multifunction switch.

Also, check the complete wiring harness and make sure it is not damaged as a result of the engine replacement.
