Fuel pump

I have a 85 iroc z with a 350 (engine swap) in it & the fuel pump won't come on. The three wire's that come out of the tank & goe's into the car. One of them is a hot wire, ground wire, & a signal wire. The signal wire has no power going to it from the fuse box to the pump. From the firewall into the fusebox it has power. My question is, could it be possible that the wire from the fusebox to the tank bad?

Re: Fuel pump

You should have two hot wires at the pump, one is for the pump motor, tan wire. The other voltage wire is for the fuel gage. Is it the tan wire that doesn't have voltage?
