broken dreams

so my dreams of making an auto crossing monster have been shattered. shit fell through with my parents and now i have no legal attachment to them (as in I was legally disowned) which means that my dad won't cosign on my college loans (i pay for my education, but i need his cosign to get a majority of the loans). also i have no garage or even place to live in like a week. also, my brakes and wheelbearings have gotten so bad now that i'll be lucky if the car makes it to the shop to fix em.

god dammit. so close... so close... i was going to order my 16s, tires, eibach springs, ingalls camber kits, wilwood big brake kit and rear disc kits in like 2 weeks too... but now that money has to go to supporting myself.

i'm not bitching that i have to start paying bills and whatnot, i have to do that during school anyway, i'm just sad that i was so close to making my 4g4d DOPE... and now it's gone.

Dude...you can always fix up the car later, or another car in the future..I have owned my 4g4d for almost 9 years...it wasn't until just a couple of years ago I knew anything about modding my baby..

Also, if you don't mind hearing my $0.02, and you can do whatever you want with it, the struggle to get thru school is worth every penny and pain in the ass exam to get that degree...Then you will be able to afford to do whatever you want... Stuggling your whole life sucks, so stay smart and finish school

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now

I dont know much about autox, but i know that modding the car puts it in a different class. I've always heard that if you are inexperienced and want to get into autox, use a totally stock car until you get good enough. Check wiht your local SCCA rules to see what mods put you in what class, i belive you can do things like get better tires as long as they are stock size, or something of the sort.
