2000 Trooper noise 35-45 ... shuddering??
My 2000 Trooper makes a noise at 35-45mph especially uphill.
Is this the dreaded "shuddering" problem I have been reading about? I just had my Transmission rebuilt - before rebuild it was slipping and made a vibration at 60mph. Now it does not slip and the vibration at 60mph is gone. But now, this problem at 35-45mph has appeared. Another thing - it would not start up after I got it back from the shop. Found that the battery connections were corroded. I cleaned the battery terminals. Tonight I went to fill up with gas and driving up to the pump the engine shut off. It restarted OK. Any ideas on what may be the issue? Think its electrical? Carl |
