Window leaking
SO, last week the power window motor broke on my driver's side door. I didn't have the money to buy a new one until my paycheck went through, so I disconnected the motor from the regulator and pulled the window up by hand. I didn't feel like reconnecting the regulator to lock the window in place, so I just kept pulling the window up every time it began to creep down as I was driving.
Now, with the new motor in place and the window working fine, the weather seal at the bottom of the window leaks like crazy, dripping water into the inside of the door. The seal looks to be seated just fine, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Do I have to buy a new seal, or is there something I can do to stop the leakage? Thanks! |
