Please help me identify a part name!
I have a 01 3.8ltr. Currently the line that comes off the fuel pressure regulator goes to a rubber piece that recieves another line. This Rubber piece is craking and I need to replace it. I need to know what its called so I can buy a new one! In this diagram below you will see coming from the #1 is a small black line. It runs over to the right and connects into a black rubber boot with another line. WHAT is this called?!

Re: Please help me identify a part name!
It is a vacuum line connector, and a dealer-only part. You can replace the damaged piece with two individual hoses (different sizes) to connect the hard nylon lines to the throttle body. My '01 Impala is the same way.

Yea, I think this is what is casuing my starting problem. The car requires two starts sometimes. The boot the the throttle body has come off twice now. I think it is not getting a good seal. Sound reasonable?
