AIUI Lanzante have 'regular' prices for maintenance work on the car [eg £ per hour]; it's the parts that make the eyes water

I'll go first -

Handbrake :-

Pre conversion

Converted

Ride height is usually increased to 90mm from 75mm, reversing and fog lights added.

Changing the taillamps must not be mandatory though as both #06R and #12R still wear their flush-faced lenses today.

I would agree the main tail lamps must be a matter of taste.

Re: What is actually changed on a GTR to convert to road use ?

Yes, I meant the additional tail lights (reverse, fog, etc.) but in a hurry didn't write that and perhaps the attention goes easily to the main lamps. I would prefer to keep the original GTR'96 tail lamps like 06R and 12R still have as those standard road car or GTR'95 main lamps look a bit clunky for a GTR'96, original or upgraded.

Nice thread. Can't wait to hear about the engine works, and whether the converted and de-restricted GTRs are closer to the LMs for power output as a result.

Nice photo of before and after for the rear lights. I still have both bumpers and lights and was thinking of going back while car is rebuilt.

Looking at above I prefer how it is now.

What about the hand brake?
I think that's "must be in road legal car"?
How they did it?
I think race GTR don't have one...?
