High mileage compared to what?
Compared to a newer car, yes it's high. But it is average mileage for a 14 year old car. So, compared to other older cars, its not particularly high at all.

However, overall condition is more important than mileage. If the car runs well and has been maintained properly, it still has lots of life left. But if its been neglected and abused it might need big repairs. Get it checked out before buying.
