96 Eclipse rs 2.0 non turbo Check Engine light
Whats up guys... im having some problems with my Eclipse. I put a new engine in it about 2 mts ago and now its throwing 3 constant codes. The main one is 1487- High speed radiator fan control relay circuit fault. 1698- computer and the tranny not communicating. 1899- Neutral Safty switch. My car is a 5 speen but idk whats going on with it! can some one help me?

well... i just put the engine in it but i used the same tranny that came in the car. but yea i had unhooked the ECU a few times.

It shouldn't be throwing those codes if you didn't change anything but the motor. With a 5spd it should be throwing codes for the auto tranny. Im not sure if the auto ecus and 5spd are the same or not.

Na i dont think they are the same. but i wass told the tranny and engine is not communicating. so ima look and make sure no cords are broken.

yea thats what i was thinking too about the neutral safty switch! but na its only one there! some ppl were telling me that it could be a crushed wire or something like that!
