does the AAC valve affect the performance when its not working ok?

Most likely, yes. The AAC valve controls your idle by letting small amounts of air into the engine. If it is malfunctioning, in all likelihood, it will be letting unmetered air into the engine off idle. Either that, or it is closed and forcing the ECU to work hard at maintaining a decent idel. This would likely make low end throttle response a bit poor.

thank you George ,so that means that I have to replaced for a new one ,have to spend 100 dollars ,
When the AAC valve is good,if I disconect the "central"connector,the car would stop right?,my car do not do that,soo I suposed is bad.Anyway Im gona replaced.

Whoa! Wait. You should still be able to disconnect the AAC valve connector and the car should still run. In fact, it's one way folks can get to set the base idle and timing if the ECU doesn't go into "set" mode properly (along with disconnecting the TPS).

I would highly recommend reading the SE-R Mailing List archives. There has been a lot of good information on this topic posted there. I don't remember the details well enough right now.
