Flashing Green Key Dash Light
When weather became colder, the 'flashing green key' dash-light indicating an ignition lock-out will flash. I know that it's supposed to do that when engine shuts down, and IF the ignition key isn't 'recognized.' The Civic WILL start, and WILL run w/no hesitations. When the weather was warm (ambient temp above 50-degrees farenheit), This wasn't an issue. Any clues on what relation cool weather would have on whether this lamp flashes?

Re: Flashing Green Key Dash Light
No, it does that every time you turn off your car. Just telling you it's changing the code.

Re: Flashing Green Key Dash Light
Jeremy, thanks for the response. However, it does this when it's running, also. I read in the owner's manual that the green key will flash upon shut-down of the engine. However, if I go to start it later, say to leave my employment for lunch, after starting, as it runs, the green key flashes.
