In any vehicle, 'production' is a hectic fluid (however, well planned) process; if missing some parts endanger production, theyll use substitutes. (Most often the production isnt actually manufacturing but parts installation process.). This means that later on some vehicles parts catalogs wont 'match' in every detail. They try to make mfg changes and record the change starting from certain chassis vin code; go to the parts shop with your reg papers and/or have the old part with you to search/compare...
