U joint
(specs in sig)cant figure out which u joint i need!
I need to replace the u joint on the front shaft near the t-case autozone lists 3 different ones for front shaft, i have no idea which to get. It doesnt seem the bore in the yoke is deep enough for those snap rings to go in there to hold in, the existing joints stick all the way out to flush 1-0445DL this is the one i bought it has 2 sets of the rings  0153DL this one has all 4 snap style rings  If you have some insight, let me know! 5374DL this one seems to look the same as first one  im guessing i need to just use the one with the inner clips for the yoke, and the other part of cross gets bolted on with clamps, but im confused....lol

Your existing U-Joints are probably held in place with molten Plastic that was injected into a tiny hole in the yoke and then cooled. I doubt that there are grooves inside the holes of the yoke that the spring clips will fit into, If memory serves, when I did mine, the C-shaped clips were installed on the inside of the yoke, in the grooves of the cap, and if there is a U-Bolt to hold two of the four caps, then you would obviously only need 2 clips. Have you ever replaced this type of U-joint before?

Its been awhile, I have done the melting out before an another truck.
this one doesnt seem to have the weep holes on the yoke though. Im taking it (shaft) to the shop at work tommorow to try and press it out, just trying to decide which one to buy, i currently have the top one listed, which i think will work but not sure

If you have U-Bolts on this specific yoke, I think you're right with picture number 1. Besides, #1 looks a little beefier in the middle section. I'd also have a plumber's torch handy to heat up the yoke.

There was no nylon or heating needed, i just used the 2 sockets and a vice method and it popped right out.
That is, after i realized there were clips on the old one that were rusted over and i didnt see right away.... If nothing else maybe this will help someone else searching for it, i used the top picture shown for the 94

Good Job, Glad to know you got it done.
I've seen the rusted over clips before too. Makes ya feel kinda loopy when ya figure it out.
