I just did a compression test on my D16a6, here are the results:
#1 238 psi #2 150 psi #3 240psi #4 240psi Whats the deal with #2 cylinder??? The motor has 5,000 miles on it and P29 Integra pistons in it.....

maybe u didnt put enough lubricating liquid before intial start up so u got alittle seizer or rubing of metal in that cylinder causing alittle leak
just a theory |

jesus christ.. 240.. its only supposed to be like 180 psi across all cylinders.
*EDIT* wait nm, i see integra p29 pistons.. those are super domes. that would explain the super high compression values.. anyways, make sure the car is warm, hold the throttle open and do the test..... if you did it this way and you got the low compression, then pour a table spoon of oil into that cylinder. if it gets better, you have bad rings. |
