Remote Door Lock Fob ?

I have a 01 Regal LS that has almost all the bells and whistles on it, but doesn't have a remote door opener. Is there any way I can find out if the car came with one?

On the SPID label located on the back of the trunk lid are GM RPO codes but depending on the options/packages your Regal came with it may not have a specific code showing you have remote keyless entry.

So the best way is by VIN number. Just send me a PM (private message) with your VIN number and I'll get you an answer.

This is one of those iffy situations. I believe that all Regals came with remote entry standard (it was optional on the base Century's). The RPO list for this vehicle doesn't have the AUO or UA6 option codes, but the receiver and transmitter part numbers do come up for the car with the VIN filters on. This is a similar issue with the GTP's and Regal GS's where even though they don't have the NV7 option code for variable steering, they all have it because it's standard equipment. The transmitter fob number for this car is 10335582.

Found the fob on E-bay and won it today. When it gets here I'll try it out and post the results.
