Good news...Good Question

I recieved the greatest news today from my boy Dao at work. I was talking to him about my idea of doing a auto to manual tranny conv. and also doing a "mini me" head swap on the D15 engine. Anyway after talking to him about buying a tranny he said,"hey, I got my DX tranny from my CRX and I'll probably just give it to you for free!" I was like "hell yeah I'll take it. So now I have a 5spd DX tranny for my conversion. That was the good news now here comes the question...
If I take my car and the tranny to a shop could they do the swap only using the tranny I gave them. The only thing I think they would need other than the tranny its' self is the clutch pedal, am I correct in saying this?

they would need the entire pedal tree, either off another 4th gen, but I think the tree of a 86-89 integra would work ... then you need the clutch fluid resivor and lines for the pressure

Anyone feel free to correct me or add anything else

4th Gens are cable clutch, there is no clutch fluid reservior. And if this DX tranny is from a Hydro Clutch car the conversion for that alone makes it not worth the effort.

Don't forget you will need a shift linkage and shifter.

I have removed the pedal assembly - it is a pain. I was pulling it out of a junkyard car, so i droped the steering assembly and ripped out the dashboard so I could easily get to the bolts that hold it to the firewall, cuz they are way up there

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now
