2002 JGC 4.7 front 4x4 help Question
I have a 2002 JGC 83k miles. The front carrier where the front propeller shaft enters the front carrier the yoke is leaking a bit of oil and at times a good little puddle is left. Is there a seal there where the yoke is attached or does the whole front pumkin have to come apart to replace the seal? I see in pictures there is a nut in the middle of the yoke that has to come off for the yoke removal. I need to know if there is a seal there or inside the carrier. Was going to take to shop tomorrow and have it fixed if the seal is where the yoke is.
thanks |

Re: 2002 JGC 4.7 front 4x4 help Question
Just had that front pumpkin seal replaced on our '04 Wrangler. $150 at the stealership. Yours might be different but it makes sense it would be replaceable from outside the differential.
