Red Headed Bronzed 'Lady

I've finally finished this one. It's been a while since I was able to post in the completed section...a very long while

Overall, I'm pretty happy with how she turned out, but there was more that I wanted to do to it...just ran out of time.

Thanks for looking.

Jimmy

Re: Red Headed Bronze Lady

Excellent work with great detailing of the underside. Excuse my ignorance but I don't know much about this very pretty car except that I think it is a Datsun and looks to have been influenced by the MGB? Looks like you have added a new engine too? I have never seen one on the road in the UK!

Thanks Luis. I'm really surprised that I was able to build and fabricate as much as I did in such a short amount of time (started July 2010)...at least for me it's short The Levin has been put on an indefinate hold. The more I look at it, the more I want to trash it and start all over I haven't though...it's tucked away for another day.

Viccario: Yeah, it's a Datsun, and they do share similar lines with the MGB. Nissan made this car mainly for domestic and the US export market. The engine is not the original one...it's a homologation of a Nissan L18 engine block (Nissan/Datsun Bluebird engine) with a custom DOHC head made by Japanese engine tuner OS Giken.

Thanks for looking.

Jimmy

I follow your "WIP"...and you did a great work, a lot of details, and well....the engine, that was so cool, you did the engine from zero
