Help!

I am currently experiencing a slight shake in the steering wheel when my car reaches about 110 km/hr. I am a little concerned, any ideas what might be wrong?

Re: Help!

Welcome to AF!!

The first place to start is with the tires. Have them re-balanced to see if they are balanced properly. If the problem still exists then have the CV joints checked along with the tie rod ends both internal and external. Any of these items can cause the issue you indicated.

Re: Help!

well i had the tires balanced and rotated about 6 weeks ago, and there is still a bit of a shake. I am just concerned because i have to make a long trip with very short notice and I am just wondering if it will cause problems on the highway.

Re: Help!

jack the car, try to move the wheel, you'll probably find some play (there should be none) on one or both side.

You might have a safety hazard here. ball joins, tie rods... or something else...

You should have started your own thread, but you probably have a faulty coil pack. the pack hold 2 coils, which each one fire on 2 cylinders
