Brake Pad Set Replacement

Hello - just wondering where can I get the cheapest brake pad set for an Isuzu Rodeo '99. I know everyone is saying to stick with the Isuzu OEM parts, but where can we get the best deal on these? Any advice is really appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I dunno. I'm not picky. I just ordered a set of Raybestos Ceramics for $18 shipped. They were on close-out and I got the last set. I only got them because they were cheap.

I've been using Duralast at Autozone. They've been great for past 4 yrs.

I replace them each year.

Re: Brake Pad Set Replacement

Usually when locking lugnuts are installed, there is a sticker that goes inside the glove box with a number on it so you can order a new key. If it's not there, they make emergency removal tools. Try a local tool shop or Harbor Freight.

Re: Brake Pad Set Replacement

I'm sure this is done already but I'll throw my 2 cents.

When people strongly say stick with OEM, theres a reason for it. Most threads I've seen on the brakes, people got upwards of 75k out of a set of OEM pads, some got over 100k, I made it to 110K.

Re: Brake Pad Set Replacement

OEM parts are made by the lowest bidder. I don't buy into the theory that OEM is always best. I might be, it might not be but we'll never know who actually made the parts.
