2002 Concorde wont shift
I’m having a problem with my 2002 Concorde limited 3.5 ho changing gears. It will jump down in 1st and will not shift. If I turn the car off and restart it, the car will shift fine. Makes me think it’s not the transmission but something electronic. Any ideas?

Re: 2002 Concorde wont shift
your transmission is in limp-home mode, meaning there is an electrical fault and it's defaulted to second gear and reverse. I'm 90% positive you have a bad output shaft speed sensor which is a common thing to go wrong.
Is the check engine light on? You can retrieve the code by turning the key on/off 3xs ending in the on position. It'll spit out a code where the odometer is, usually a P07xx code or something like that.
