Question about 6x9s...

I have a 2000 Sunfire w/ the Monsoon sound system. I took it to the local car audio place with a pair of Infinity Reference 6953i 6x9s to have them installed. The guy told me I had to have a pair of Bi-Ampable 6x9s b/c the speakers have separate inputs for the tweeters and the woofer. So basically what I am asking is, what kind of speakers are out there that would work for me? I know that the speakers have to have two sets of connectors for the wires, but on ebay or even on crutchfield.com they don't show pictures of the back of the speakers so I have no idea if I could use them or not. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Audiobahn has a pair of A6900 6x9's that are bi-ampable. Check this site:

I have Audiobahn highs, and they are loud and clear.

I found a post for you to read about bi-ampable speakers. This is what it said:

"If your speakers are capable,in other words if they are Bi-ampable, you can use one amp to drive the lows and the other amp to drive the mids and highs.
You can connect a Y-cable out of your preamp into your two power amps.
Bi ampable speakers, separate the crossovers in the speaker systems so that you may drive them with multiple amps."

I believe the ones you show are bi-ampable, but to tell you truth Boss is not really a quality made brand.
