Fuel Injector PN? '90 Suburban 454

Friends,

Have a 454 Suburban, that have changed the injectors a few times, and am now wondering if I've got the correct part number installed. Last injector was replaced by trusted mechanic, but remember him saying something to the effect that the part numbers have been superceded many times.

The original part (which is a paper weight on my desk) is part number 17084304. And the one the mechanic installed was part number 217-2281 (followed by another number on the box-top 19118533 which is maybe the lot number).

Does anybody know if I've got the correct part installed? Seems to run OK, but mileage is a little low, about 8 mpg while towing.

We are not parts people and do not have gm parts books.
Call your local gm parts man with your vin no and they can tell you.
Remember parts no change/supersede over the years

Was it a GM OEM injector or after market?
217-2281 sounds like after market.
