04 ion wont start
I have an 04 Ion and it is not starting. I think I located the problem. The "ECM Cont." relay number 31 under the hood at the eps is not working. I changed it with no luck. I checked a number of things including every fuse by a dmm continuity test and pulled them all out and visually verified. all test fine. the issue i think is the ecm cont relay does not trigger, if i jump pins 87 and 30 with the key in the ignition in the on position it starts and runs fine. so i checked and found the triggers come from the clutch in the car which appears to send +12v to trigger the relay. that seems fine. the other trigger appears to come from the starter coil relay and is yellow coming from the ecm pin 66 i think. how can i fix this ecm wire issue?????????
