Tires - which ones do you like best???

I need new tires for my 2007 Sierra Crew Cab, Short Box, Z71, I am getting so many different BS lines from the tire dealers. I just want an honest opinion. I am looking for a tire that will not be too expensive and will last as long as possible, all seasons are fine. I use 265-70-17.

Can any of you suggest what tires you like best??? I live north of Toronto in snow country so I need a tire that will handle well in snow - ice - rain - etc... I have had good luck with Michelins in the past but the price is way up there.

Thanks for any help!

Have you looked at Hurcules tires, I run them on my truck and have had good luck with them, and the price was right, I also use them on my big rig and have had no problems with this brand.

Re: Tires - which ones do you like best???

I just replaced my BFG All Terrains. They were good to me and lasted about 80,000 miles. I was quite happy with them. I paid about $715 for them in 2004. When I priced them now they were well over $1000 for the set. I really didnt want to spend that kind of money so I went with the Falken Rocky Mountain. They were quite a bit less and guaranteed for 50,000 miles. If they only lasted 50,000 it ended up being almost identical in cost per mile, but with the Falkens they could wear out sooner and I would get no tires sooner. So I figured fresher rubber is better. The Falken looks good and seems to perform great.
