how to do avatars
How can you make custom avatars, and put them by your name????

What do you mean by custom.Just find a picture you like and make it smaller.

First click on Profile in the upper Right Hand corner of your screen
 Then click on Edit Options  Then click on Change Avatar. It will ask you where the avatar file is. Download it to your C Drive and Upload it to AF. Upload your avatar at www.automotiveforums.com/upload Make sure it is 100 X 100 pixels or less.

I remember having to whore up 100 posts and didn't even make an avatar until about 200 posts later- then I needed to ask help on how to put it in my profile Aaaahhh......the good old days of October '01
