Re: Hobby Stores in Stuttgart or Wolfsburg?
Hi Ramon
There used to be a good shop here in Wolfsburg, but sadly that's now gone. There's only one RC-Modelshop across the road from "the factory". I think you're better off spending your time in the Autostadt ( mostly the "Zeithaus"-Museum ) or the VW-Museum. There's a good modelshop near Braunschweig Airport that you can easily reach if you have a car: http://modellbau-koelbel.de/ They have a lot of stuff packed in a small place but are mostly focused on aircraft and armour. There's another useful modelshop in downtown Braunschweig ( typical RC-and plastic ) and one a bit south for slot stuff that carries 1:24 kits and supplies. Near Stuttgart there's a good shop for car stuff: http://www.nimpex.de/ The must see museums in Stuttgart are of course those of Porsche and Mercedes Benz. |

What about model stores in Frankfurt? (if I can slightly hijack this thread?
)

Re: Hobby Stores in Stuttgart or Wolfsburg?
Hey guys,
there is a large model shop near Stuttgart. Check www.nimpex.de for directions to get there, it's about 20km east of Stuttgart, roughly 10min from the A8 (Autobahn). Stevenski.... yes, there is a model shop in FFM. In fact, he's right there at the show selling stuff (he's actually the organizer of the event). He usually also opens his main shop on Sunday morning/noon. Be aware, he mostly stocks US Car kits - and some rare ones as well! |

Re: Hobby Stores in Stuttgart or Wolfsburg?
Hey that's good to know, because i'm going to Stuttgart next month for a couple of days(vacation). I'm planning to see the Porsche, Mercedes and Sinsheim museums. Also maybe i'm going to visit nimpex. Are there other hobby related places that I need to visit?

Thank you guys for the information, tomorrow I'll be on the Autostadt and then I'll check the RC-Hobby across the street, I want to visit also the VW Museum and on the weekend I'll visit the Porsche and Mercedes Museum, oh, and I will also pay a visit to nimpex for sure.
Thank you again and best regards!

Re: Hobby Stores in Stuttgart or Wolfsburg?
There is a multistore toy store at Marktplatz 10, where almost everything can be found. I discovered there when I was stuck at Stuttgart during the ash cloud thing this spring.
