Volkswagen T2a | Surfwagon

Hello again,

here's my chocolate brown T2a Surfwagon. Just a quick semi-gloss paintjob, lowered a bit, added a scratched roof rack and a surfboard.

Hope you'll like it

Nice little one! I like the lowered suspension and brown color. Spot on!
If it was my model I would go with chromed bumpers.

I love it! The color is fantastic and the surfboard, too. Very clean build! I don't know if I would've done chrome, but the one I am working on has the bumper match the top. No matter the case, I love love love this build!

Hello,

yes I really like it.
But is this a plastic kit or just a die-cast model wich you modified?
Because I can't remember a plastic kit of a T2.

It's a modified DC - but if you ask very politely, ScaleProduction might sell you a resin version of the transporter w/o windows, based on the same model. Check here what it looks like: click!

Cheers
Sebastian

PS: if there is a (very nice!) DC of a subject not available in plastic or resin - why shouldn't one buy and modifiy it??
