Difficulty in replacing a/c compressor?
1998 trans sport montana 3.4. a/c compressor started making a terrible clicking noise and it no longer produces cold air. i haven't had much time to look into it, but it seems to click whether the a/c button is pressed or not, even when trying to run the heat. i'm no mechanic, but have done my share of repairs in the past. is the compressor on this anything to mess with? thanks in advance.

Re: Difficulty in replacing a/c compressor?
If the comp. needs replacing, You'll also need to replace the dryer. After you get it all replaced you'll then need to have a vacuum pulled on the system. Then you can have it refilled.
