Upper Intake Gasket

Hello all. Replaced the upper and lower a little over a year ago. When I bought the lower set one of the end seals was missing. The parts place would not replace the gasket set so I used silicone instead. Evidentally I didn't use enough silicone so it leaks oil. I have to do it again. Can I re-use the upper man gasket? Normally I would never ask, but money is very tight. The upper manifold was replaced too.

Re: Upper Intake Gasket

I would not re-use the UIM gasket. Check the UIM gasket to see if it is compressed or flattened out. The problem is you don't want to re-do the work later but it is your decision.
