Impala window off track
My daughters 02 Impala window keeps going off track, the window goes up 3/4's of the way up then goes off track. I opened up the door panel today, can't really seem to figure out what is causing this to happen. Has anyone had this happen? Are there parts that need to be replaced? Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Impala window off track
The regulator is a cable drive type. If the cables are not spooling evenly the glass can be driven off track. Usually there is cable fraying evident when this happens. If that's the case, a replacement regulator is in order.
You may also want to inspect the glass retainers. IIRC, the rear guide channel is adjustable to "steer" the glass as well. The mechanism should be self-explanatory with a little study.
