Question Starting Engine after 2+ years storage

I rebuilt my 91 3 cyl a couple of years ago, and put about 150 miles on it. It's in storage now. What should I do to put it back into operation? It was a complete rebuild and needs breaking in. I don't want to just charge the battery and turn it over, thinking it might seize up. I could use some insight here. Thanks for any replies.

take spark plugs out, poor some hot tranny fluid in it,let it set for 10-15 minutes, then turn the motor by hands slowly a couple of turns..you should be good. If you cant reach to turn it manually, dont worry bout it, start that up and you'll be fine just the same.

Dont forget to crank engine with plugs out to run the oil out before to start it.

Thumbs up Re: Starting Engine after 2+ years storage

Thanks cavalier9777, sounds like the way to go. I could mess up a lot of work otherwise.
