'96 civic drum to disc brake conversion
Hi,
I own a '96 civic DX and I would like to know which of these two options would be better to convert rear brakes... A) Buy a drum-to-disc conversion kit from a company such as AEM; B) Find spare parts from a '96 integra (complete rear trailing arms with brake calipers) and replace the civic's trailing arm... In that case, would I need to change the proportioning valve or other parts?

An excellent mod, but don't expect to feel the results in braking times. Expect brake fade to be far less existent.
Remember, the rear brakes only do ~15% of the braking, less in a FWD, front engined car.
