Re: O-Rings for Fuel Injection

As said you need to give year make and engine.
Why are you wanting to know?
Injector problem or other problem?
Fuel rail type Fuel injectors take two O rings per injector.

One injector o-ring is broken and its giving a vaccum leak. I have to replace it, but before I take it apart I need to know about the o-rings.

2 per injector.
I would replace all O injector rings on that side when you have fuel rail off and consider other side to.
Good Luck

Re: O-Rings for Fuel Injection

Each injector has two O rings.
One one each end.
One where it goes into intake and one where it goes into fuel rail.
All sme sise.
If you have 6 injectors get 12 O ring's
I always get two extra for a job.
In case One takes off or gets lost or damaged.
A little lube on the o ring and in hole where the go helps install them.

How many miles are on the injectors? You might want to get them rebuilt/cleaned while you have them out. Made a world of difference on my 3.1.

170.000 miles and the injectors look like new. We changed the o-rings and it drives very nice again.
