99 Rodeo wiring harness

I had an engine harness fire that melted the fuse box and sent my 99 3.2 5-speed Rodeo shooting down the street all by itself, causing all kinds of carnage. Is this a common problem and can I swap the harness out with one from an auto trans or does it have to come from a 5-speed?
I also need rear bumper assy, corners/brackets and spare tire carrier, does that have to come from a 99 or can I get parts from something newer?

The stuff on the bumper corners were only 98-99 and 00-04. the tire carrier should be the same from 98-02 (I don't think 03-04 had a rear carrier).

oh and is the wire harness fire normal? I've never heard of one, so no it is not normal.
