Coolant Leak
I drive a 1999 s/w 2 with 86,0000 miles on it and I just noticed a few small puddles of coolant on the garage floor from time to time? It seems to be coming from the front bottom of the engine near the pulleys and accessory drive belt. It is very tight quarters in that area I cant see very well could it be my water pump?

Re: Coolant Leak
it could also be a aged or loose hose. look for cracks in the hose.

Re: Coolant Leak
When you take off the mount, jack that baby up. Makes life much easier.

Re: Coolant Leak
+1 on that. A small jack with a piece of wood as a buffer and you can lift the front of the engine to gain better access, after you remove the right upper motor mount.
