Here's a tough one, ipod plug broke off

2008 Avalon Limited

My daughter broke her ipod cable connector when removing it from the jack in the armrest storage box.

Any suggestions on how to remove the bit of the jack that is now in the receptacle?

Or, any idea how to get to the receptacle to remove it without disassembling the entire console?

All suggestions will be most appreciated.

I can only imagine how many ipods I could by with what the dealer would probably charge me. Arghh!

A small dab of five minute epoxy on the end of a toothpick.
